Marius Ostrowski

Marius Ostrowski is a doctoral student in politics at the University of Oxford, with a thesis on federalism and community identification. He holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and an MPhil in Political Theory, both also from Oxford. His MPhil research focused on political legitimacy and authority, and forms of political support.

His wider work covers an eclectic range of interests, including European party systems, political realism, metaphysics, and the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche, and he has recently become drawn to mutualist models of political and economic governance.

He is a keen pianist, and blogs regularly for sites such as Politics in Spires and Oxford’s Cherwell student newspaper.
