    Catherine Duggan

    Catherine is an Independent Senior Energy Consultant and recognised leader on low carbon energy solutions with over 15 years’ experience working as an energy strategist, programme deliverer and fundraiser. Recently, Catherine was the Head of the North for the Energy Saving Trust (EST), acting as a TV and radio spokesperson and delivering energy programs and driving forward solutions with an array of partners such as councils, Registered Social Landlords, and Utilities. Prior to this she worked for the Civil Service (Ofgem, the energy regulator, and Defra) helping to shape and implement UK Government energy policy. She has also worked for regional government (the North West Regional Planning Board) advising on the sustainable development aspects of commercial infrastructure planning applications. She holds an MSc in Energy Technology for Sustainable Development and a BSc in Environmental  Biology.
