Mike Wilkins B.Sc. MCIH

Chief Executive, Ducane Housing Association

Mike started his career in housing management with Westminster City Council and was a senior estate manager and then an Assistant Divisional Director.

He has worked in a number of housing associations; including Notting Hill Housing Trust as a Development Manager where he set up a sucessful procurement team providing managed homes for homeless families in the private rented sector. After leaving NHHT he was Director of a street homeless charity based in Waterloo, before starting work with Ducane Housing Association as CEO. He’s responsible for an active development programme for new homes, offices, and modernisation the most of the existing stock, and currrrenly has a 31 unit scheme for key workers underway in Hammersmith.

Mike was an instigator of the g320 group –representing smaller housing association in London and was Chair for a number of years – he is now Treasurer. He has a particular interest in encouraging housing development by smaller associations.
